For everybody that came out and suported DIV09, we say Thank You!
Whew! Dubs In the Valley 2009 has come and gone. What fun! As I went through the grounds after all had departed and it was back to a normal parking garage, I looked around and it felt like it had all been a dream. Thank you to all for coming out and having a good time with us. There is a certain vibe at DIV every year (or at least it feels like it to me) that is just low stress and feels like you are truly hanging out in its purest form. Everybody always thanks us, which I think is a little strange, we just provide the venue for you guys. This is your show, it wouldn’t happen without your participation and would really suck if nobody came anyway. We should all contact Beckets Restaurant and say thanks to them for being exponentially better hosts for this event than we could have dreamed of. As a venue, they enjoyed having us and we are already talking about how to improve things for next year. Excellent work peeps, we made the cut.
With just under 150 cars accounted for, and raising enough money to cover materials for about 20-25 spay/neuters at the humane society, a warm thanks is due to all who attended and helped. We would also like to thank Beckets, Diverse Design, Bergstrom VW/ Audi, The Empire Collective, MC Elvis Thao, and of course all of our friends for coming out one more year….. See you in 2010
